I was riding solo in Shawnee this weekend. Every time I ride a certain stretch of gravel road on the ridge, I remember a time when Goat got in trouble from Mary for overdressing and getting too hot on a climb. This was when he was starting to feel more sick and clearly wasn't doing well. Nevertheless, he politely waited until she was done with her admonishments and then mouthed "OK mom" after she turned away. I laughed hard.
