Deerfield XCP Course Update

Within Landen CSA proper, the entirety of Simpson Trace has been milled down and will be resurfaced by the end of this week.  This will significantly increase the speed on that portion of the XCP course located within Landen. 

This weekend we will send current Deerfield XCP record holder Kurt Lentz out to establish a new XCP Short Course benchmark.

Because much of the Deerfield XCP network is located on Landen CSA property, we are reluctant to post a GPS map because that portion of the course is open only to Landen Residents and their Accompanying Guests.  

However for reference purposes, posted below is a link to OpenStreetMap.  If you zoom into Landen Farm Lake, you will find miles of paved CSA maintained trails which interconnect all 24 of the subdivisions of Landen. These CSA trails are marked in red dash lines.  

All of the Deerfield XCP course configurations are memorized rather than posted.  This is done to keep the greater Cincinnati mountain bike community from becoming aware and trespassing on Landen CSA propety during the wet season.
