Yours truly rode up from Monkey Bar to the new Bowman Trail in Lebanon this afternoon.
Bowman Trail connects to the existing Lebanon Multi-Use Trail System at Harmon Park which is located two blocks east of the LM&M Railroad Station. This trail is built on the former right of way of the CL&N Railroad. It runs approx 2 miles north to Monroe Rd and features a slight climb as it winds it way thru the wooded eastern side of Lebanon.
On the return trip I rode Monroe Rd approx 1/2 mile west to Columbus Ave and rode south thru the Historic Sector of Lebanon before getting back on the Lebanon Multi-Use Trail at the LM&M Railroad Station.
I estimate that if starting from Loveland, this would be a 35 mile round trip ride. You could add another 5 miles to this trip by adding a side excursion over to the Mason Sports Park and back.
And to make this ride even more interesting you could add a side excursion up to Carter Park in Kings Mills via the newly paved Sheldon Davis trail that connects to the Ohio and Erie Trail at the parking lot next to the roundabout at Grandin Rd.

Retro out.
