I pulled a hamstring muscle doing hill repeats on the new Sheldon Davis Trail which connects the Little Miami Bikeway to Carter Park in Kings Mills. So for me it will be soft or no pedaling until further notice per doctor's orders.
And so during this time period the focus will be on maintaining bike handling skills. And for this purpose, I've pulled the trigger on a ZOOZ 24" Electric BMX bike. This bike is a 750 watt/100 Nm beast which when unlocked can easily exceed 35 mph.
The ZOOZ Ultra Urban is essentially an Urban Assault Bike that is very popular with the Electric Ride Out community in LA and NYC.
Even though when unlocked, it's Illegal as Hell on the street, it's small profile renders it unnoticed by the Po-Po who are really focused on pulling over the Surron and Talaria E-Motos doing wheelies on the streets of LA.
The one thing I really look forward to doing on this bike is running down and dropping those 100 lb Fat Tire E-Bike riders who are throttle-cruising at 25 plus mph.
Retro out.
