Speedbox E-Bike Tuning Hacks

Introducing Speedbox tuning chips.  Speedbox enables you to hack speed limiting governors on a variety of E-Bike motor systems including Specialized and TQ.

The Speedbox hack not only de-restricts European, Australian and New Zealand bikes (which are limited to 25km per hour) but also allows you to circumvent USA's Class 3 (28 mph) governor.

Although, theoretically, you could program a maximum speed of up to 99 mph, Speedbox advises that you program a maximum speed of no more than 50 kph (31 mph) to avoid triggering fault codes within your E-Bike's OEM system.

31 mph maximum speed works for me as that would give me 3 mph more pedal assist.  That would put me within reach of the CCC Tuesday night ride's A Group out of Loveland.

Not needed for me.  I run my battery assist level at 10% or 20%.  I want to feel like it’s atleast 80% my effort.
