A group of nine set out on the double white arrow route on a toasty (at the start) evening. We haven't ridden that route very frequently lately, but it didn't disappoint and the distance was perfect for the time we had – – about 31.5 miles. Early in the ride there was a stop for a mechanical and most of us kept an eye on the kids while Steve's broken spoke received a temporary repair. As the sun got lower in the sky conditions became perfect for an increasingly up tempo but civilized pace. The group rolled back into Loveland just after dark. A fine evening with good friends! -- J
