Ride #8 – After two weeks of tough weather, this Saturday looks reasonable, if a bit cold in the morning. I have pushed the start time to 11:30 AM to make it as warm as possible at the start and we should catch the predicted 48 degree high during the ride. We might have some sun during the start as well. To try to pick up a few of the Hyde Park area riders, lets try out a new Blue Sky route (64 miles) that dips south, but avoids the East Fork bike trails. At Milford, we can decide if we want to do roads or the bike trail to get back to Loveland. I did not include a shorter cut off ride this time. Hope to see you out there.

Pace? I may opt for the afternoon and some sun shine.    Worried about remaining ice from Friday's temps and snow.

Pace is a tricky question. One week we averaged almost 20. But the last cold ride was under 19 mph. I think things are slowing down now that we are in real winter.
