During the upcoming Cool/Wet season, yours truly will be conducting rides on the 15 mile Paved CSA Trail System at Landen. These trails connect all 28 communities of Landen. (I've been riding these trails during the off-season for 35 years)
Any mountain bike will do but the ideal rig would be a hard tail or fully rigid 1990's era classic XC bike with semi-slick tires. (I'm running a 1999 titanium Airborne XC bike with a carbon rigid fork and Continental Speed King pump track tires)
The rides would be approx and hour and half to 2 hours long at a medium paced velocity. Rollouts will depart from parking lot front of the Countryside YMCA at Landen Square, Maineville at 1300 hours.
The purpose of these rides is to extend our fitness deeper into the off-season while avoiding late Fall road cycling wind chill and most importantly to stay off the muddy mountain bike trails systems here in SW Ohio.

Retro out.
