Data sheet looks informative. I checked out the power supply specs and PCB mounting, the device is pretty compact and supports serial (Tx, Rx, cts, rts) cts and rts being signals to let the host know that the buffer is full and to stop transmission.

it also has a built in antenna, at this stage in terms of hardware, we have all the physical inputs and outputs of our product (with WIFI). Me Dhruvin and Nick met up today to setup chibios and get into the WIFI and Bitcoin application.

We defintely need help figuring out how the bitcoin application needs to be written. If anyone is open to helping out thats the one thing that could  help us three out. Like more a research spec on what would be the most sensible architecture.

Or if interested help out on porting wifi libraries over.

As soon as these elements are added we will have our minimum viable product. At this stage we will try to sell it as a POS terminal. So communities which have large number of people with Bitcoins is MIT because they gave 100 dollars free to all students.

It is a prime starting point because the cold start issue is eliminated. Meaning students have this value they want to spend and if merchants adopt technology to receive this influx of value it would be beneficial to their business. But at that stage we would need to interface with a bitcoin phone wallet or something so it would be NFC tap (Android) only.
