Dear Laila,

 

1.       No need to design all equipment, one person should select one major and two minor equipments, which are not selected by others..

2.       HAZOP analysis should be done for imported points (or equipment, depends on the criticalness)

3.       Separate waste treatment PFD is required (not to include in the main PFD)

4.       PETRONAS Technical Standards are available in IRC, also I will upload the standards which I have to eLearning..

I am Laila Sakinah from PDP 2 Group 1.

Our group had our meeting last week and there are several questions that we hope you could enlighten us on.

 

1. Does the detailed design need to be done for all equipments or is it enough for one person to just do 1 major equipment and 2 minor equipments?
2. Does the HAZOP analysis need to be done for all equipments or just one?
3. Does the waste treatment plant needs to be included in the PFD and P&ID?
4. Where could we get the PETRONAS standard for the P&ID?
