Dear Team Members,

I know this is a bit early, anyway, this is the group report modified from PDP I for PDP II done according to the guidelines.

We need to submit the softcopy of this report by Week 10, on 21st Nov 2012. 

I removed the mass balance, and merge some other contents. 

But, I think we still need to cut some text here and there to compress the report cause the limit is 100 pages excluding appendices.

So, maybe we can start to figure out how to compress it :)

2. Anyone can help with Executive Summary and Conclusion?

3. For Process Economics, most of other groups are doing rough estimate of individual equipment cost to be included in this upcoming submission of report. Are we doing it?

    To cut down on pages,

        - I can cut some of waste treatment part (3-4 pages) to appendices

        - Zulhilmi also maybe can cut calculation and tables as appendices

        - Please look into, especially on PDP I stuffs, that can be compressed.

As per discussion in the meeting just now,

1. Due date for everyone to send their part for the group report: 10 Dec 2012

2. For individual equipment, we will just compile without sending a draft to our SV. Appreciate it if you can send your individual equipment part by 13 Dec, but since 4 of us will have test on morning of 14 Dec, please submit the latest by 10 pm 14 Dec 2012.

3. You can refer the deadlines in the calendar below. Those shaded in colour are related to FYDP.

From briefing session last Tuesday:

1. Page limits: Marks will be deducted if page exceed limit. As a precaution, just lets follow the rules.

Group Report: 100 pg + 20 appendices 

- I have already cut here and there, and later for process economics can compress more to get 100 pg as most are calculations and can be attached in the appendices.

- If i cut something that is actually important, do inform.

Individual Report: 20 pg + 5 appendices

2. For submission on 17^th Dec (Monday):

To submit:

- Peer evaluation

- 1 Group report (hardcopy and softcopy)

- 6 Individual Equipment Report (from each member) separately (hardcopy and softcopy). *So no need to compile.

  Total: 7 ABBA files, 7 PDF files

How:

Each member must be present during submission.

Bring softcopy in CD or pendrive. Submit hardcopy in ABBA Lever Arch Folders (404 Standard) file.
