Opening

-The meeting was commenced by Surah Al Fatihah

Discussion on Heat Integration

-Based from Madam’s feedback on the lack of freedom of our streams, we have to recheck our HI.

-Discussion took place starting from extracting the stream data as well as correcting some parameters in simulation.

 
  • Latest HI and simulation file can be find as attached or from previous thread.
  • Present HEN to madam in the next meeting.

Instrumentation & Control (P&ID):

 

Discussion on the base layer control & P&ID on the major equipments.

 

·         The control schemes for pre-heat exchanger and minor2 part will be done once PFD is finalized.

·         Present the P&ID for major equipments to madam in the next meeting.

Pathforward:

 

-Meeting with SV on Thursday, 4:00p.m.

-Finalized P&ID ASAP

-Week 4 (Next week): Start with Safety & loss prevention (HAZOP)

-Week 4 &5: Concept for waste treatment & Plant water utility system

  • PIC for Waste treatment: Faiqa
  • PIC for plant water utility system: Muchapa

The meeting was adjourned by the reciting of Tasbih Kifarah and Surah Al-A’sr.

For the time being, I think I can help ilmi for hazop.. Bcos 4 economic, this sem its very complicate , I waiting the other group for teaching me ..
