GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL REPORT COMPILATION

salam guys, i just got back from the briefing session. this is what i got for group report and individual design report.

Group report:

1) pages must be less than one hundred (100), appendixes are excluded. the maximum pages from other group i asked is 119pages  and 109pages. so guys, please redo back your respective part base on the report only for PDP2 and reduce the pages as much as you can. other unnecessary things shall be put in the appendix. as the report from PDP1, i ll try to reduce the pages unless i need the respective person to redo back him/her part.
2) the drawings should be put in plastics just as we did before, separately for each drawings. i would like to ask faiz to do this one as u keep all the drawings. the drawings that we should put in the PDP2 report should be referred to the newest group report marking sheet (later will be posted by izzati).
3) as for faiz, i'd like to ask u to send all the drawings (again) to me (if there is any correction) in pdf format only.
4) the due date for final report is on 22 august 2011 before 5pm. all reports shall be sent to dr. risza.
5) as for me, i would like to settle the group report by this week. so i would like to ask you guys to send all your respective parts (again for PDP2 only) latest on sunday morning (this weekend) at 10am. cuz i, and u guys want to focus on individual design rite...
6) all respective parts from you guys for PDP2 shall be sent to me in words only. with no correction on page margin and no of pages (as i will do it before i convert the file to pdf). only make sure the format is correct example title fonts used 14, times new roman, you guys can refer it to the guideline (please do this to ease my job later).
7) don't forget to put your reference, put in another separate word  file as i'm going to arranged all of it.
8) don't forget to put your appendixes, also in other separate file as i;m going to arranged all of it.
9) meaning that u guys have to send me three files, your respective part, references, and appendixes, in separate word files.
10) do give your cooperation, because compiler has a lot of things to do, make sure u send on sunday, dont be late. i want to print it, buy new file, divider for each part lagi, individual design haiihhh, and so on......so please!

OK thats all for group report.

Individual report:

1) pages is unlimited, as it is not informed in the guideline.
2) refer individual report marking scheme (evaluation form) to ease your job (later will be posted by izzati).
3) the front page is important, and dont forget to write your name & id as header on each page of the individual design.
4) the individual report will be printed on your own.
5) i will email a blank front page, no name no id..., to make sure that we use same format for our front page.....
6) due date for individual report is on 22 august 2011 before 5 pm same as group report.
7) as for me, i will inform you guys when to submit your softcopy of your individual report. mayb on 22 august in the morning. MAYBE....
8) make sure u guys put also the individual evaluation form for your reports.
9) follow all format as referred to the PDP guidelines...i won't help you guys to format your individual report.
10) i only receive PDF for individual reports for compiling only.

OK thats all for individual report.

OTHER information that you may know is (this is not important just to let you guys know):
1) 1 largest ABBA file for group report.
2) 1 largest ABBA file for all individual report.
3) all chapter will be separated by a divider, ex. chap 1, chap 2, chap 3....
4) because....each chapter will be marked by different internal examiner based on their speciality, on control maybe dr. rama, mass balance mayb dr kuzi....
5) one cd including group and individual reports.
6) one evaluation form (marking sheet) for group reports shall be put in the file accordingly.
7) 5 evaluation form for individual design shall be put in the respective file accordingly.


>>>You can refer the format in the guidelines may 2011....as the old evaluation form u can refer to jan 2011. make sure to keep updated wiht the new evaluation form especially individual (will be sent by izzati)

azizi, please do not forget about the 10% portion as i posted in the PDPII marking scheme email. It is about the recoomendation & conclusion.
