Would you like to live a period in an Italian family, improving your language skills and getting to know the daily life in Italy?
Those are the possibilities an experience “Au pair” offers to girls between 18 and 25 years old.
WHAT IS AN "AU-PAIR" PROJECT?
Leaving as “au pair” girl means to spend a period in a family abroad, taking care of their children and giving a hand for the housework. The family offers food and accomodation, a pocket money, a health insurance and the possibility to attend a language course.
Finally, au pair is not a real job neither a staying as “guest”: but you are rather a member of family. The conditions, the working time, can change according the needs of the family and the agreement with it.
REQUIREMENTS :
- age between 18 and 25 years old
- loving children, being capable to take care of them and playing with them (references required)
- being in good health condition
- availability for a period of minimum 6 months up to 9 month. For summer period it depends by the countries (from 2 to 4 months).
- to accept helping in the ordinary house-work, related with babies.
- a strong feeling of adaptability and interest for the customs and traditions of another country.
CONDITIONS:
- food and accommodation are provided
- at least € 50,00 weekly pocket money
- 5 hours of work per day (30 hours a week: 15 hours for children care, 15 hours for house-work)
- possibility to attend a language course
TASK:
Your main task will be to care for children, you will provide to their needs according their habits, but often you will be asked to help the family in its house work, such us: dusting, ironing, vacuuming and sometime also cooking easy dishes for babies. That’s why you should look flexible and available for a mutual cooperation.
WHERE CAN I JOIN AN AU-PAIR PROJECT?
Actually we can offer placements in Northern Italy, Trento Province.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED?
InCo will put you in touch with the hosting family. Contacting them by phone will be useful to decide and test your “feeling”. We will suggest you what to say and to ask them.
InCo will provide you all the information about the family interested in your file.
InCo will help you to organize a cultural Exchange.
