I am a writer/blogger/ relaunching work at home mom. My husband and I run a CSA Farm in upstate NY and I have taught myself Wordpress and built the site pretty much from the ground up. I feel I am doing a decent job, and doing it on the cheap, since we don't have much cash. That would be none. Zero cash.
I am willing to help you with the website. I also have a colleague who is a writer/editor and is very experienced with web design and whose husband is a web developer. I would like to ask her to help as well.
I joined this list because I need to earn some money to help supplement our income. Right now, in addition to the marketing/pr I am doing for our farm, I am working as a marketing and communications coordinator for an executive coach. I have to say that I don't like having a boss and I think that he is grossly underpaying me, from what I have seen as far as salary estimates and rate for freelancers on the web. I am about to check out your rate calculator. So, I am slowly planning to build my skills and go solo.
If would be really great for me to get experience helping you to put together the website and I would love to show my friend that her skills are also being wasted working for this other guy.
