The aim of SMPS 2012 is to serve as a forum for discussing
new trends that enlarge the statistical and uncertainty
modeling traditions towards the handling of incomplete,
subjective or fuzzy information. Papers accepted for
presentation will be published in an edited volume of the
series "Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing" from
Springer-Verlag.

PAPER SUBMISSION

The deadline for paper submission is March 18, 2012.
Formatting instructions and files are available through the
conference website. All submissions will be peer-reviewed
on the basis of originality and scientific quality. Papers
accepted for presentation will be published in an edited
volume of the series "Advances in Intelligent and Soft
Computing" (Springer-Verlag).

VENUE

In 2012 the SMPS conference will be held at the University
of Konstanz. Konstanz is located at the western end of Lake
Constance in the south-west corner of Germany, bordering
Switzerland.
