I'm not sure of the exact dates, but we've officially passed the 10-
year anniversary of Hellview on Bellview, and are closing in on Autumn
Anarchy. I've been thinking back on those early shows lately, and
laughing about all the things that changed. Obviously, there are the
big things, like moving from the dagger-filled mattresses to a ring
made of, if Ric Bear is to be believed, bees and broken glass. But
it's all the little changes that really get me.

Just between those first few shows, there were a lot of them. Stay
Puft, leader of the old World order, became Big Daddy, leader of
Arkham. In our first month, Mad Dawg was kicked out of the oWo,
became BS 'till death, and then joined up with Arkham (and,
apparently, lost his magical African dog talisman of invincibility).
And, also on the Arkham front, in the few weeks between the first two
shows, Jobber Johnny Vengeance got himself locked in a basement for
three months and went all Skizto in the head.

Let's see... The Christ-Lovin' Hippie would become the first man
kicked out of FUW for no-showing. Vinnie Mac became Carlson Mann,
'Slightly Agitated' Brett Presson became the Wifebeater, Japan the
girl became a little boy and then a bear, and Little Bitch (not
Johnson yet for a few months) would betray VJT and turn him face.
And, most importantly, FUW's greatest rivalry would be launched, as
the world would be witness to Tricky/Rude I and II.

Looking ahead, Autumn Anarchy would see the in-ring debuts of Thee
Anjel, the Faceless Jobbers, and the legendary Johnny Rotten. Then-14-
time world champion Ric Bear would debut on commentary, and flooding
would move the show to the backyard of a certain mad professor.
Everything was so terrible back in those days, that it's still hard to
believe what we managed to build on that foundation.
