== SIoT Symposium 2022:
Since 2016, the Brazilian Forum on Internet of Things has held an IoT Congress consisting mainly of guest lectures and panels. This year, a scientific symposium was added to the traditional Congress, the I International Symposium on the Internet of Things (SIoT).
The integration of the Congress and the Symposium forms a major event called IoT Forum that will take place from October 24th to 28th at the USP Innovation Center (InovaUSP) in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual). Given the wide range of IoT areas, the following scientific societies support the event: SBMicro, SBA, SBC, SBIAgro, SBrT, and EDS/IEEE.
This international event constitutes an opportunity to discuss developing research around the world of an interdisciplinary nature. The
event includes a variety of formats, such as oral presentations, poster sessions, and exhibitions. IEEE Xplore will publish all approved papers from the symposium.
The areas of interest include, among other related:
- Vertical IoT Applications and Services (industrial, rural, urban, etc.)
- Security and Privacy for IoT
- Blockchain for the IoT
- Communication Technologies for IoT
- Systems Development Methods for IoT
- Devices/components for IoT
- Management of IoT devices, gateways, or edge nodes
- IoT / Cyber-Physical Systems integration
- IoT edge, fog, and cloud architectures
- Architectures and Models for IoT
- AI and Machine Learning for IoT
- Data Science for IoT
- Web of Things for IoT
- Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in IoT
- Signal sensing and processing
- Interoperability in IoT
- Human Interaction with IoT
