This special issue aims to foster discussions about the design, implementation, deployment, evaluation, and application of emerging wireless sensing technologies. The topics of this special issue include but are not limited to: wireless sensing testbed design, development and measurement; new wireless sensing system design; Novel wireless sensing architecture and protocol design; Security aspects of wireless sensing; ethically compliant and sustainable wireless sensing; application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in wireless sensing; innovative applications in wireless sensing; wireless sensing for constrained IoT devices; indoor localization and tracking; joint communication and sensing; spectrum efficiency and coexistence; new wireless sensing carriers.
A public and free half-day virtual event around the theme of the special issue, with talks for each of the accepted papers, will take place after these are selected and available online.
