A few intrepid members actually contributed to the Blog - here are
some of the ideas and concerns they raised.

Purpose - Are all members committed to the service part of our
mission? Do we need to discuss whether this remains at the center of
our purpose? Can social networking be construed as a kind of service?

Membership - Should we move from an invitation to an application basis
for membership? We currently have several categories of membership.
Should we have more? Fewer? Donor members who pay dues but do not
participate? What is our ideal number of active members?

Fund-raising and Club maintenance - Is the work of the Club being
borne by too small a group of committed members? Should we continue
to focus on one major fund-raising event?

Endowment - Should we make more effort to create an endowment that
will yield more income to distribute to local organizations? What
should the level of that endowment be? Is it realistic?
