Archives not purging

Hey All,

We recently did a FR upgrade ( Revision: 4.0.10, Build: FusionReactor
4.0.x Maintenance Branch.49.24583) & ever since then our archives are
not automatically clearing.

IE, I have 8 days of folders in C:\FusionReactor\instance\FRAM\archive
\

My settings under Logging => Log Settings are:

Retention Strategy: Age Target
Retention Value: 2
Automatic Purge:Enabled
Archive Location: C:\FusionReactor\instance\coldfusion.cfmx9.ERNST
\archive

Which is interesting, because the that folder (C:\FusionReactor
\instance\coldfusion.cfmx9.ERNST\archive) only has 3 days of archives
in it.

Maybe these two folders are not related? Anyway, I want to figure out
how to get C:\FusionReactor\instance\FRAM\archive\ to stop growing.

Hello Dave,

Thanks for your message.
Since FusionReactor v4.0.0 we now have the additional administrative
interface - FRAM. FRAM has its own settings for things (eg log
retention) and so it looks like you've configured your retention
strategy in the FusionReactor instance (coldfusion.cfmx9.ERNST) but
not on FRAM itself.
To configure the FRAM log settings...
1) Login to FRAM (default port it 8087)
2) Goto Logging -> Log Settings
3) Set your retention strategy under the "Log Archive Settings"
section (as you would on the FR-for-CF instance itself).
