If I uncheck the datasource validation it works fine.   But in looking in the forum it looks like this was fixed and the validation should work.   This was an upgrade from a previous version and it was working fine with the validation?

I've downloaded and installed fusionreactor 4.5.4 64 bit, coldfusion extensions 1.0.1, and re-wrapped with jdbc tool .75?

Hello Jeff,

I'm sorry you're seeing some issues - did you upgrade both FRAM (default port 8087) and FusionReactor for the instance (default port 8088+)?
Which version did you upgrade from?
Can you confirm there is only one fusionreactor.jar file for each of your ColdFusion instances by searching for fusionreactor*.jar in the CF installation folder. Any fusionreactor-core.jar or fusionreactor-jdbc.jar files should no longer be present.

Best regards,
David Stockton

Fram reports:  Revision: 4.5.4, Build: fusionreactor-4.5.144.29594
Instance reports:  Revision: 4.5.4, Build: fusionreactor-4.5.144.29594

I didn't jot down the version I upgraded from but I believe it was 4.5.2.

There is only on FusionReactor.Jar in C:\ColdFusion10\InstanceName\runtime\lib

There is a fusionreactor-driver.jar in the instance\lib directory.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,

Apologies for the multiple emails - can you post a full stack trace (or email one to sup...@fusion-reactor.com referencing this google group thread) please?

No problems,  I appreciate the help.

Do you want the stack trace from any cfm request or do you want me to turn connection validation to create the error and do a stack trace on that thread?

Or did you mean a stack trace from all the JVM threads?

Hello Jeff,

I was after a stack trace from the error "com.intergral.fusionreactor.jdbc.ConnectionSurrogate.isValid(I)Z" please.
However, we believe we may know what the issue is. The fix will require me to send you a new file - if you can email us at sup...@fusion-reactor.com I'll send you further instructions and once we've confirmed the fix I'll update the notes on this thread.

Best regards,

I'm not really clear on how to do this.    If I turn on datasource validation the thread errors out so fast that it never shows up in the "running requests".    Do I just cause the error and then use the "Stack Trace ALL" on the "List All JVM Threads" page?   Or is there something else?
