I am had the case where, I wanted to see a dynamic http call like
http://#SystemName#/#dirName#/Documents/#ApplicationName#/images/Signature#Adminofficer_id#.gif

It would be nice if I could paste this into the expressions and it
would evaluate it properly. I sadly had to add <cfoutput> and
<cfabort> to easily see the dynamic http call.

Thanks,

You have to treat expressions like normal code so for that to work if you quote it as you have text it will evaluate

Think about it you can put a variable in without quotes or hashes like you can in a cfset but if you wanted to put that var in a variable you'd need to quote :)
