Kewl... That is a neat little feature they added to GTA 3... Its for PC I
assume... What kind of graphics card and stuff like that does that require
anyways? And whats it cost (the game)? Because you are giving me a reason to
keep this "super-computer" I got but never use :)

And going to be replaced in 2-3 months by the new line of nVidia cards
they announced a few months back. A new card in August... they release
their boards too fast.

Actually, no. With each generation of card out in the market, it allows
games to do more effects and more resolution. GF3's and GF4's have
saturated the gamer market. Both the GeForce 3, the GeForce 4, as well as
the NV30 will have Direct3D 8 hardware support, and NV 30 will have Direct3D
9 hardware support.

That'll help with new games, like Unreal Tournament 2003, and Doom 3.

And Nvidia has competition with ATi Technologies. The R300, NV30's
competitor, may be out before the NV30.

Gray Fox

That just means that you'll be able to grab a GF4 cheap when the new line
comes out. Being one card behind bleading edge is usualy enough. :)

In article <adr5r0$92k$1...@velox.critter.net>, merr...@tco.net says...

Uh-oh. You realize the GF4 MX* isn't actually a GF4 like the rest of the
line?
