Surface drag force - lagrangian module

Dear FUNWAVE users,

I am writing because I would need some help with my simulation.

I am using the Lagrangian tracking module of the model to simulate the dispersion of plastics into the sea from the mouth of a river during a storm event. I am trying to simulate an event of several hours, hoping that some of the plastics will go ashore. After several attempts I have noticed that almost no particles get close enough to the beach to be considered beached, despite the waves being quite intense and even with the addition of wind.

Has anyone ever tried something similar? How could I better configure a surface drag force to improve the simulation of this process?
