TIDE + ABSORBING_GENERATING + JONSWAP 2D

Can I use the combined tidal and absorbing-generating boundary condition with a Jonswap 2D as WAVE_DATA_TYPE? If so, how can I specify the location of the spectrum?

I am modifying the example from the simple case "tide_frf_abc_data" but instead of using the wave data, I want to specify a Jonwasp 2d spectrum.

Any help is really appreciated.

Carola - there’s no option for jonswap 2d in absorbing-generation bc yet. If you want a jonswap, you may generate a spectral data file using the jonswap formula.  -Fengyan
