Dear members of the group

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I have encountered while simulating a two-dimensional beach, which appears to deviate from experimental data, as indicated by the alongshore velocity profile .

Upon analyzing the wave height , I have observed that wave breaking occurs prematurely at approximately 10 m offshore in the simulation. This finding is inconsistent with experimental data, where wave breaking typically occurs around 6 meters offshore. I suspect that this premature wave breaking may be contributing to the observed discrepancy between the simulation and experimental data.

Despite adjusting the values of Cbrk1 and Cbrk2, I have not observed significant differences in the results.

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have regarding the cause of this discrepancy and which parameters or aspects of the code I could modify to address this issue.

Best regards,

Nannan Fu
