Better way to read coupling file in nesting.F?

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone has a better way to read coupling files. I have multiple grids that have different sizes, and currently I manually change the format specifier in nesting.F when I use a different grid. Ideally, I'd like to not have to specify the number of values to read, and as a Fortran novice I'm hoping someone can provide some ideas.
