Hello everybody!
I'm using NHWAVE to model subaerial landslides via MUDSLIDE (https://github.com/fengyanshi/NHWAVE_MUDSLIDE), but I don't know how to model the landslide in the attached photo ("Figura_slide.png").
Is it possible to model a subaerial landslide that has a trajectory change in its motion?
And if not, how can I model this type of landslide?

In MUDSLIDE, how can I know which Diffusivity values I can use for the models to be valid? (See "Input_Viscous_Slide.png")

Greetings, and Thank you very much!
Francisco

I don't know what NHWAVE_MUDSLIDE is (Fengyan has a bad habit of generating his own versions and not necessarily adding them to the main code).  If it is a viscous slide model, the slide is going to follow whatever the gravity-driven downhill path of least resistance is.  The trajectory isn't specified (or, at least, shouldn't be).

I hesitate to answer the second question, as I don't know exactly what the model is.

Thank you very much for your answer Mr. Kirby. However, I use that NHWAVE module because it is the only one that I know how to model two landslides at the same time,
I don't know how to do it in the standard version. Several times I have tried to model the landslides in other ways, such as: deformable, two layers, etc., but with none of them I have had success
(also I have not found many examples on the internet).
About the photo (Input_Viscous_Slide.png), I leave an 'input.txt' file so you can see it.
One final comment, a big problem I have found with MUDSLIDE is that I don't know what is the landslide speed.
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question.

Dear Francisco

The standard version of NHWAVE can be found at

Here I want to mention that all my codes, including various modeling packages, are open to public on my GitHub. Those codes may be old or new, and MAY NOT be the standard versions. For NHWAVE, I believe most of features in my version have already been included in the standard version. Unfortunately there’re no user’s manual, no simple examples in the standard version package. In my packages on my Gibhub, I provided many successful examples based the codes in the current versions in my repertories,  and tried to help out users who are interested. However, because those examples are version-dependent, they may be inconsistent with the standard version of the code. If you want to use the standard version, you should make some adjustments by yourself.

Thanks for using my Github, However, please not that the landslide model is not part of FUNWAVE-TVD.

Regards
Fengyan
