Dear FUNWAVE-TVD users,

I am using an inlet_shoal sample for a project, and I noticed that the waves damp quickly for small periods. Reducing the Grid size (From dx=dy=15m to 5 m) improves the result, but I would like to know if other parameters or configurations could also have a positive effect.

Tp = 7.87 s
Hm0 = 2.74 m

I appreciate your comments.

Saeed,

How large is your domain?  I usually use grid spacings of 1 or 2 meters for nearshore work and comparable periods.

Dear Prof. Kirby

I appreciate your comment, my domain is about 3 km* 3 km. The wave heights for various scenarios are between 0.59 and 2.74 m. and wave periods are between 4.12 and 7.87 seconds.
