Dear FUNWAVE users,

I am a recent user of FUNWAVE-TVD, so I am not very experienced. I am currently working on a simulation involving an Italian coastal city and I would like to model the interaction between sea waves and river discharge, particularly during extreme events, to generate flood maps.

As you can see in the bathymetry image attached, in my domain the sea is on the west side, and the land is on the east, and two rivers flow into the sea. If possible, I would like to set a discharge value for each of them. If not, modeling one river discharge would be sufficient to begin with.

I would appreciate your guidance on the best approach to set up river discharge within FUNWAVE, how to define the boundary conditions on the east side and any relevant parameters in the input files.

Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to any advice or recommendations you can offer.

Best regards,
