so um

how do you tell if A) a job is legit above your paygrade and you are genuinely unqualified and if you took it you would crash/burn/ruin everything

or B) if you're just being a scaredycat who would sometimes rather shy away from a challenge rather than risk failure

seriously tho i think i'm facing an A situation, but i really hope it's not a B???? uhfgalkjfgla;fkg';blafg i can't tell

Are you actually getting offered it?  If you really were unqualified, you wouldn't have made it that far.

Not actually offered -- and I know, I know, normally I wouldn't start getting antsy this early, buuuut I was contacted about it by a staffing agency, and the dude says that I'd be the only person they'd be submitting for the position, he knows the manager etc, I wouldn't have much competition, so my probability of getting it (if I want it) is pretty good.

I just don't know if I should continue with the process & do the phone interview with the company to get a better sense of the position, or bail out early :x
