Law on Charity new in Ukraine

Dear colleagues!

We have great news for you: today, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in
the second
reading and in General has adopted the Law on Charity and Charitable
Organizations".

We thank everyone who supported the reform of the legislation in the
field of
charity! To all those who wrote letters in support of the
the Bill "on charity and charitable organizations" in # 6343
the relevant Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for culture and
spirituality, the head of the
Parliament and the leaders of factions in the Verkhovna Rada.

The law introduces the best European practices of charity
and simplifies the procedure of creation and activity of the charitable
organizations. We hope that the improvement of the legal environment in
the charity will increase the number of citizens and
business campaigns that carry out charitable projects to address
socially important problems.

We remind that Ukrainian Center for independent political research
have been
active participation in the development and advokatuvannì of the Bill
"on
charity and charitable organizations "# 6343. Project supported by
