Hello Fundraisers in Thailand,

I hope you are all having a very happy Sonkran. I also hope you enjoyed the report!

Please can you let me know if any of you are using the telephone as part of your fundraising activities either to thank supporters or ask for donations?

Many Thanks!

Hi Ruth

I sometimes use telephone for major donor contact – inviting them to meetings on-site, thanking them for donations. Asks are usually done in person or by written request for local donors (i.e. those based in Thailand). For donors overseas, written requests are the most common, and I have recently started Skype calls with some US-based donors.

We don’t use a call center or anything of that nature. Just me and my phone.

Cheers

W
