For those who asked, and those who did not. Lilian and I met today with the specialist who oversees my treatment. It is hard to believe we are through eighteen months of a two-year treatment plan. He explained that since my numbers have stayed within the target range for a full year he considers me CURED. Praise the Lord! We have opted to stay on the meds, in spite of the awful side effects, for the remaining six months. There is not much expectation of bone loss and liver damage being reversed, but that is preferable to bone cancer, which is a real risk if I do not complete the treatment plan.   The hope is that within a year after completion of the treatment I will regain a measure of my former energy.   We can't thank you enough for praying for us!!!  God has heard and answered you. Please keep it up.
