An update

[Donald Moore]

On this past Thursday Brother Art Shady was passing blood. By Saturday it was pure blood. (Apparently the problem was in his kidneys.)

Between Sunday and Tuesday AM the doctors could not get the blood flow to cease. Finally, this AM the blood flow subsided.

Brother Art is now out of CCU, and in a private room, and stable. (But he is by no means "out of the woods" yet.)

Brother Art is to be in the hospital for 7-10 more days.

In 10 days he is to have his prostrate examination with regards to finding out how severe the cancer problem is. There is the possibility

that he may immediately have surgery, and the removal of the prostrate could occur.

Of course, please pray for Brother Art, the doctors, and nurses that they would have divine intuition, skill of hand, and a special concern

for Brother Art.

Of course, please pray for his family. This has to be a difficult time for Mrs. Shady, and the children. I would imagine emotionally, physically,

and also financially. It cost quite a bit of money to travel to and from the hospital, along with the extra expense of food.

Brother Art is at Claiborne County Hospital, Tazewell, TN, room 319 in case you would like to send a card, or gift. (That is me suggesting

not Brother Art!)

All of this information came from Missionary Doug Cooper who was returning home after being with the Shady's the last few days.

Brother and Mrs. Cooper helped the Shady's in several ways, and also wanted y'all to know your prayers are appreciated.

Well, there you have it, and I survived all of that without picking on Brother Art, or being sarcastic, miracles still do happen!
