Why a High View of Scripture Should Produce a High Standard of Fairness

Christians who believe Scripture is authoritative should also care deeply about fairness because misrepresenting another person's position is a form of untruth.

We may disagree strongly.

We may believe an interpretation is wrong.

But accuracy still matters.

A fair response describes the other view in a way its supporters would recognize before explaining why we disagree.

This discipline protects Christian witness.

Truth should not need distortion.

A high view of Scripture should make us more committed to honest argument, not less.
