Need for additional maintainers?

Hi all,

I notice that functionaljava is a bit short on developer time with write-access and thus some interesting patch (eg. https://github.com/functionaljava/functionaljava/pull/236) are waiting for months. Mark Perry is doing a great job as a maintainer but I guess that he is also very busy.

Could owners of the project grant write access to some additional contributors with a good track record (eg. regarding the scalazzi safe java subset and the overall goal of writing correct software)?

And maybe establish a few rules as to when a pull request can be merged? (eg. two :+1 from contributors).

I'm also fine with pull-request, the idea is just to have a few more active reviewers with merge capability so that the project can be a bit more fast-paced.

I'll be ok with having maintainer access, but be warned that I will back off from and pass on any PRs that I'm uncertain about. I'm not fluent in "The functionaljava way" yet...

Thanks to JB for taking this up and following up on numerous issues.

I've been mostly offline for the last few months for several reasons.  I'm hoping that has been resolved now and I can spend time on FJ again.  

For the benefit of the project, we need multiple maintainers, so I am happy to see you merging PRs!
