Hi Eric, Heather,

Done, and also on the Meetup page ... it looks pretty good :-)

https://twitter.com/functionalbton
http://www.meetup.com/Functional-Brighton/

We need to come up with a better background for the Twitter profile
... at the moment the default Twitter-blue clashes a bit with the blue
of the logo. A bit cliched for a Brighton thing, but maybe a photo of
the pier or the Pavilion or somesuch? Or something Skiff related?

The logo blue matches the Meetup page blue quite nicely, at least to
my eyes ... Heather, was that intentional?

The Google+ page wanted a larger image (min 250x250px) so I've left
that as-is for the moment.

Cheers,

Miles

Hi,

I think it looks good. The twitter blue background is not really an issue IMHO because people tend to see the logo as part of their regular twitter feed, either in the web client which has a grey background, or an app like tweetbot

Unfortunately, I never really mentioned the other pages (meetup, G+) to Heather and Jay

Oh wait, hang on, that's probably because I use a grey bg in my profile page for the web client.

Hmm :-/

It looks just fine as an avatar in peoples timelines ... it's just on
the @functionalbton profile page that it clashes, and that's a problem
with the default profile page background, not the logo background ...
I think the logo is just fine as it is :-)

Cheers,

Miles

Doh, sorry, Erician pseudo-reading habits strikes again.
Would a plain bg matching the logo colour work?

:D

I'm sure that between us we can come up with a suitably Brighton-
and/or FP-themed image for the background.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I wonder if the giant prawn on the
seafront can be made to look vaguely lambda-like?
