I previously had Win7 and the driver worked fine. I upgraded to Win10 (and just did the big 10586 update) and this device is not working (I have not used it since upgrading to Win10). The driver will not install and the 8.1 driver is not found on your site when I click the link to download it. Does the 8.1 driver work under Win10, and where is it?

For some reason, the Mac version of the software that was on my iGrabber DVD was corrupt. Fortunately, I could use the serial number on the envelope and download a good version of the driver from the MyGica site. Once I did that, everything worked great.

One way to record iPad video output (for those looking for another solution) is to mirror the iPad screen on the mac via Airplay, with apps like Reflector and Airserver (both about $13), then record the screen via any number of screencast apps.

I found early on that I am really passionate about two things; marketing and technology, and I have focused on both throughout my career, and it has been a terrific journey thus far. So far I have been incredibly lucky in life, even though there have been a number of times when I faced tremendous misfortune. One of the things that you should understand about me is that I love a challenge, and thrive on change. I believe that only when we face adversity can we truly grow personally or professionally.

In 1998 while working for ITIM, a UK based management consultancy I founded ClearedITJobs.com, an online job board for professionals with security clearances, which I sold just after launching it to a Reston-based online job board that was later acquired by Sallie Mae. After leaving ITIM, I joined Benchmark and worked with a portfolio of startup ventures on the east coast including Digex, NexTone Communications, and LivePrint among others. While at Benchmark I received an opportunity to join Lightningcast, a startup focused on online video and audio ad insertion technology.

Over the next three years Jason and I worked on a dozen or really interesting digital advertising and marketing campaigns, and built up an impressive roster of clients. In 2003 Jason and I successfully exited the business, and he headed out to the west coast to pursue his ambitions as a filmmaker and writer. During the same period of time I was working with Jason on projects for Hancuff Miller, I was also servicing as the VP of Business Development for DynLink, an information technology services firm founded by my friend Raj Bricksin. I helped Raj to build up a roster of clients and gain traction in the market.

At the time the economy was in terrible shape, there were very few opportunities in the agency space, and even fewer in-house marketing roles available in the region, so I was forced to reinvent myself. In mid 2007 I joined ePartners, a management consulting and software services firm as a solution architect in the customer relationship management practice. During my two years with ePartners I worked on a number of high-profile engagements for major brands including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Brown Printing among others, and learned a tremendous amount about software development at the enterprise level.

After brainstorming ideas for several months Tom and I decided to join forces and create Vendor Centric. The original vision for Vendor Centric was to create a software-as-a-service based platform for vendor relationship management, however raising venture capital proved incredibly challenging, and Tom decided that a pivot was necessary. When the company pivoted, which was a smart move as it proved to be successful, I lost interest in the new direction, so I pivoted. With that said I enjoyed my time working alongside Tom and creating what remains to be a great brand in Vendor Centric. A serendipitous turn of events landed me at Levick Strategic Communications, a Washington, DC based public relations firm at a time when the founder and Chief Executive wanted to rebrand his firm.

The VideoGlide software supports multiple devices, i.e. more than one device can be plugged in and used at the same time. This is particularly useful with security applications like Ben Bird's SecuritySpy. It can also allow multiple simultaneous broadcasts from the same machine using webcam software like Econ Technologies' ImageCaster. Note that one serial number per device will be required, i.e. to enable 3 devices, 3 serial numbers must be purchased. Note that a stock machine with no additional USB 2.0 PCI cards can run only two devices simultaneously, and one of those must be at 320 x 240. Adding USB 2.0 expansion cards can increase the number of devices that can run simultaneously, and the frame sizes at which they can operate.
