Dear All:

Pranaams !! Hare Krishna !! Shubh Dipawali !!

Considering the prediction of rainy weather and storm on 22nd Oct Sunday Evening , there is a change in the schedule of the program announced earlier.

We will  not have any evening program for Diwali and Govardhan Puja on Sunday 22nd Oct.

Celebrations will be held only in the morning and afternoon.

The renewed schedule is as below -

Program Schedule :

11:00 ~ 12:30 PM - Kirtan

12:30 ~ 01:00 PM - Raj bhoga Arati

1:00 ~ 1:20 PM - Children bhajan and play on Damodar Lila

1:20 ~ 2:00 PM - Govardhan Puja & Special Arati

2.00 ~ 3.00 PM - Prasad

Special request:- 

We request all interested to please prepare 15-20 pieces of sweets

 or salty dry items to help in the preparation and offering for Govardhan.

The items may kindly be brought in to temple by -

1:00 ~ 2:00 PM - Pravachan/Lecture with Japanese translation

2:00 ~ 3:00 PM - Prasad

5:30 ~ 5:45 PM - Damodar Prayers by Children

6:00 ~ 7:00 PM - Govardhan Puja & Special Arati

7:00 ~ 8:00 PM - Gaura Arati and Damodar Ashtakam, Lamp offering, light firecrackers for children.

8:00 PM onward - Prasad

8:50 ~ 9:00 PM - Shayan Darshan 

With the approaching month of October (also known as Kartik or Damodar month), we are pleased to announce the dates of Dipawali and Govardhan Puja celebrations as per the above schedule.

During the month of Kartika (Oct 6th - Nov 5th 2017), every evening an offering of lights (deep dan) is made to Sri Sri Radha Govindji at ISKCON Funabori Temple. 

To the sweet singing of Damodarastakam kirtan and hari bhajan, it is a soulful experience to have darshan of Their Lordships.

Damodarashtakam describes Lord Sri Krishna's early childhood pastimes of running from his mother when she tried to punish Him for stealing butter.

In the special month of Kartik, devotees around the world chant these prayers every day.
