Tuesday August 15th - ECSTATIC KRISHNA JANAMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS

Lord Krishna Himself says in Bhagavad gita, 4.8 ,the reason of His appearance as follows:

paritranay sadhunam

vinsaya ca duskrtam

darma-samsthapanrthaya

sambhavami yuge yuge

To deliver the pious and annihilate the miscreants, as well also reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear millennium after millennium.

15th Aug Morning Program (11.00 - 15.00)

11.00 - 12.30 - Shri Krishna Janamashtami special darshan and kirtan

12.30 - 13.00 - Raj Bhoga Arati

13.15 - 14.00 - Spiritual discourse on significance of Shri Krishna Janamashtami

14.00 - 15.00 - Prasadam serving. 

15th Aug Evening Program (18.00 - 00.30)

18:00 - 19.00 Kirtan with Jhulan Darshan , Candle offering 

19.00 - 19.40 Special Gaura Arati with candle offering and flower offering to the lord

19.40 - 20.30 Katha / Spiritual Discourse on the glories of Shri Krishna Appearance.

20.40 - 21.15 Animation video for children/adults about Lord Krishna Appearance.  

21.15 - 22.30 Shri Shri Radha Govindji Abhishek along with slow kirtan. 

11.30 - 00.30 Night slow and soothing kirtan and special Darshan. 

00.30 - Darshan Close and cleanup

20.30 - 21.30 Prasadam for all guests in the Vedic Culture Center(2nd Floor above Govindas Restaurant)

Wednesday August 16th - His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada Appearance Day

Srila Prabhupada is respected as the world's most prominent contemporary authority on bhakti-yoga, devotional service to the Supreme Person, Krishna, as taught by the ancient Vedic writings of India. He is also the founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

19.00 - 19.40 Gaura Arati and Narasingha Arati

19:40 – 20.30 Srila Prabhupada offerings and glorifications by senior devotees.

Srimati Radharani is the eternal consort of Lord Krishna. Five thousand years ago, when Lord Krishna came to this planet to perform His pastimes, Srimati Radharani also appeared.This special day is known as Radhashtami.
