Hello Ladies,

For our September 4, 2013 UMW meeting, I particularly want you to be aware of the program that is planned and encourage you to attend. The program is going to be Dr. Edgar Ailor (Kathleen's son) who has recently published a photographic book entitled Blue Highways Revisited. He followed the route of William Least Heat-Moon who wrote Blue Highways back in 1978 and photographed persons and places visited by Heat-Moon. This should be a very interesting program, and I hope that many of you will plan to attend.

Just received this E-mail from our Church World Service team...Carol Galloway, Ann Toebber and Joyce Smith. They have worked all year on gathering items for our kits. Below is a report and a request for items to donate. You can bring them to our UMW Unit meeting this Wednesday, September 4 at 10:00.

I hope we have a big audience for Dr. Ailor.  Please try to come...and bring something for the Health Kits or Diapers for the Layettes.   If you do not plan to attend the meeting you can leave your donations in the Festival of Sharing basket by the coffee bar any time.
Thank you to all of your for you willing and generous gifts.

See you Wednesday.

Blessings to all,
Juanita
