Good evening friends,

Please note the following prayers and praises:

  • Tom Haas was attacked this morning by a couple of loose dogs and sustained numerous cuts and abrasions. Thankfully, an exam at the ER did not reveal any broken bones or long term damage.
  • Please remember those whose lives and livelihoods are being damaged by the COVID impaired economy, and especially those connected to the energy business. Please pray for a recovery and stabilization. And pray for those in authority at the national level who are dealing with these difficult economic factors.
  • Please remember in prayer Bud Culbert, on the death this morning of his wife Sherry. Bud & Sherry were members of our church who attended and participated faithfully until Sherry’s Alzheimer’s disease necessitated a move nearer to her family in 2016. Bud remained in the area for a couple of more years and commuted each week to be with her at the care facility in Keller. He now resides in Denton. Sherry’s graveside service will be this Saturday morning in Breckenridge, TX.
  • A praise for the arrival of Everly Victoria Pauling, new granddaughter of Ray & Melody Pauling! Everly made her debut this morning at 7:47am, weighing 8lbs 20 oz and is 20.5” long. Mom, Dad, baby and big sister are all doing well. If anyone is suffering it’s Ray and Melody because they can’t be there and see her yet!
  • Wade and I have a new great nephew – Fielden James Hibler, born in Midland on Saturday to Jon and Katie Hibler. (Fielden is a family name - Fielden James’ great-grandfather)
  • A praise also that Carol Ann Young’s COVID test came back negative, but we need to keep praying that she starts feeling better!
  • Pray also for all who are ill, have lost loved ones, for our first responders, our medical professionals, those working in WalMart & HEB, those home schooling and trying to find care for their children, those living in nursing or care facilities, for those who have lost jobs, for those having to lay off or furlough workers, for Bluebonnet Methodist preschool, high school and college graduates who will not get to “walk the stage”….. SO many are suffering adverse-affects.
  • Pray for medical and science professionals who are working on treatments and preventions for this awful virus.

Lord, hear our Prayer!

Blessings

Ellen
