Good evening friends!

 

Sunday morning’s coming and I’m so glad! I can’t wait to see those of you who feel comfortable attending tomorrow’s one service at 10am! Together, we will gather carefully, worship together, and leave safely so we can continue to stay healthy and safe. This week we’ve sent out a lot of emails with guidelines and instructions. Please know that all of that has been offered to help us remain safe. There is a video on the homepage of our website (www.fumcmarblefalls.com) that offers an overview of what to expect tomorrow morning when you arrive. I hope that is helpful.

 

Remember also that we are asking everyone to enter through the Narthex doors, or the doors at the end of the long north hallway by the playground. We are doing our best to keep the service at 30 minutes or less, after which the ushers will dismiss us by pews. I can’t believe it, but I need to ask that you to exit and return outside without gathering in the Narthex or foyer area. According to CDC guidelines, the sooner we all return to fresh open air, the safer we will be.    

 

Remember that masks in the sanctuary will be optional, but if you plan to sing, a mask will be a safe way to do so.

 

If you do not feel you can return yet, we completely understand. Know that you will be missed, but that we value your health and want to honor your decision that you feel is best for you. The service will be simulcast from a link on our website (see above), or available for viewing later in the day if you’d prefer. I personally can’t wait until we can all worship together again, sharing hugs, laughter, handshakes and other expressions of the love that we have for one another. Until that day comes, I trust the Great Physician will be watching over us all. Thanks be to God!
