Dear FUMA users,

Previously we kindly asked everyone to delete old unused jobs (https://groups.google.com/g/fuma-gwas-users/c/diYKRXczpPM). Unfortunately, not many people have complied thus far and we are running out of storage space on the FUMA server. Therefore, we will be implementing a new policy:
1. Each FUMA user is allowed to have a maximum of 50 SNP2GENE jobs that were run successfully.
2. All jobs with error codes will be deleted after 1 week.

For any FUMA users that currently have more than 50 OK SNP2GENE jobs, we have sent you an email. In 2 weeks, we will automatically delete your jobs and only keep the most recent 50 jobs. To avoid this, what you can do is:
1. Download data/figures generated by FUMA for any jobs that you may need the results for in the future. Then,
2. Delete these jobs that are currently not relevant

For other users, please keep this policy in mind and try to keep your total number of OK SNP2GENE jobs to fewer than 50 jobs.

Finally, if it is absolutely not possible for you to keep your number of FUMA jobs down to 50 jobs, you may request an exception by filling out this form https://forms.gle/TySijs3cBApwyfU19. Please understand that we can't accommodate everyone's request so if you currently have 500 jobs and want to keep all of them without making an effort to delete old jobs, your request won't be considered.

Thank you for understanding and cooperation,
Tanya

Hi,

Thank you for this.

I think to facilitate this, you may want to provide functionality to download the finished job in a batch. Now, we can only download them one by one individually, and can only delete then all... This is not very convenient if we have more than 100 jobs and want to download them locally.

Thanks
