Dear FUMA support team,

I am writing to ask about an issue encountered after submitting several SNP2GENE jobs on the FUMA platform.

Job details:

Job IDs: 748309, 748314, 748317, 748318, 748325

Job type: SNP2GENE

Current status: QUEUED

Description: These jobs were submitted more than 10 hours ago, but their status has remained QUEUED and they have not started running.

I understand that FUMA may currently have a high server load or a long job queue. Could you please help check whether these jobs are still expected to run normally, or whether they may need to be resubmitted?

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Best regards,

Yundi Hu

Hi Yundi,

You can check the status of number of jobs in queue using the instructions here:

If the status of your jobs are in QUEUE, then they would be run whenever there is a free spot.

Best,
Tanya

Dear Tanya,

Thank you very much for your reply and for the instructions.

I tried to check the FUMA queue status by clicking the information icon as suggested. However, the pop-up window only shows the field names, such as “Current FUMA version”, “Total users”, “Total SNP2GENE jobs”, “Currently running jobs”, and “Currently queued jobs”, but the actual numbers are not displayed.

I have attached a screenshot of what I see on my side. Could this be a browser/display issue, or is there another way to check the current queue status?

My SNP2GENE jobs are still in QUEUED status:
748309, 748314, 748317, 748318, 748325.

Thank you again for your help.

Best regards,
Yundi

Hi Yundi,

You have to wait around 10-15 seconds for the page to load. Here is the information I got just now:

There is nothing you can do but to wait until your jobs are picked up.

Tanya

Dear Tanya,

Thank you very much for your help. I have now successfully viewed the FUMA information after waiting for the page to load.

However, I encountered another issue when trying to delete some of my queued jobs. After clicking the delete button, a pop-up error message appears saying:

I have attached a screenshot of the error message. Could you please advise whether this is a temporary issue, or whether these jobs need to be removed from the backend?

Thank you again for your support.

Best regards,
Yundi

Hi Yundi,

This is expected behavior. Jobs that are in QUEUED and RUNNING status cannot be deleted.

Best,
Tanya
