I'm currently building a plan for release 1.1.
So far most of the stuff coming together in the 1.0.X releases are for
simplification and new features. My hope is that 1.1 will be mostly
backward compatible, but I anticipate some package rework / renaming
to happen and any references to existing overridden components may be
messed up.
I'd also like to get together suggestions for new features for 1.1.
I'm planning:
- a memcached caching option
- a default configuration to limit/eliminate Spring's footprint
- testing with other object factories (actions usually require service
injection, so there'll be something regardless)
- configure actions in web.xml (?)
- more robust struts system test environment
- documentation of system testing
- try to get schemas to follow the rest of the conventions:
<resource>.xsd instead of /schema/<resource>
Any other suggestions?

Would be nice to also have guard support.

I've added the suggestions as enhancements. Will take me a while to
get them all in though.
