Well hello there! Some news:

I'll be playing a short Fulton Lights solo set this Friday (3/28) at Church & Company here in Baltimore (the church at 37th and Falls Rd, above Hunting Ground). Amazingly enough, it'll be the first set of Fulton Lights material in almost two years. Woof. I'll be playing a handful of the new songs I've been working on. Show info is over here: https://www.facebook.com/events/520258114762367/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming (Starts early, doors at 7, music at 8, and I'm on first.)

The following day my friend and I-just-can't-quit-you drummer TJ Lipple and I head into Magpie Cage with J. Robbins to start recording some of these new ones. Excited to get back to work.

Peter Hess and I got together in Brooklyn recently to work on some sax parts on another song I started workin on this past Fall with Steve Silverstein. Any day I get to work with Peter is a good day. An outstanding musician and a most excellent human. Peter has done amazing sax and other miscellaneous instrumentation on Am I Right or Am I Right, The Way We Ride, and the 3 Songs EP.  Speaking of which...

In case you missed it, part of the video for "Staring Out the Window" (from said 3 Songs EP) was featured in the severely weird/awesome/disturbing(?) "Off the Air" show on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. You can catch up on that (and the other similarly excellent and bizarre episodes) here:  http://video.adultswim.com/off-the-air/nature.html

Yours truly,
ASG
