Bonjour mes amis,

Greetings from Paris! Nearly two months into the trip, one month
remaining for Europe before I shove off, nearly broke, for Eastern
lands. Eating crepes and baguettes. Hair has reached a full,
glorious 4 inches high. Thirtieth birthday right around the corner.
Obama will be elected president tomorrow, the decisive vote coming
from my absentee ballot, probably. Important times, my friends.
Important times, indeed!

My friend Nihiti (http://www.myspace.com/nihiti) made a quite
excellent, quite skewed, quite hazy remix of "Thank God For The
Evening News," off of last year's debut Fulton Lights album. It's
rad. You can hear it and download a whole album of his remixes
(including a remix of John Guilt's "Howl") right here:

New tour diary below (#5). It's a threesome--Frankfurt, Amsterdam,
and Liege. In Frankfurt I had the good fortune to connect with the
fine folks who run Hinah, and they recorded a session I did in their
home. They've made it available as a gift to you, downloadable for
free here: http://www.hinah.com/catalog/?l=en&t=g&ref=hinahgift026

Pleased to announce I'll be playing the launch party in Melbourne,
Australia for The Lifted Brow's amazing new release, a 300-page book
of short stories by talented writers of every stripe (the list is
staggering, too many to mention), and a double-CD featuring cuts by
the likes of Dan Deacon, The Wrens, Robbers on High Street, and
others. I barely missed the window for getting on the comp (doh! I
was in Poland, no fair!) but I'm pleased as punch to be able to join
them for the show. Go check out this amazing release: http://www.theliftedbrow.com/

Lastly, there aren't many physical copies left of the first edition of
the new Fulton Lights album, either through Catbird Records, or
through moi on the road. So if having something to hold and put under
your pillow is your thing, better get yer hustle on.
http://www.catbirdrecords.com/csp_005.shtml. For the rest of ya, you
can still download the mp3's on a pay-what-you-will basis over at
www.fultonlights.com. Tell a friend!
